Aviz Software is a company based in the city of Pune, India working towards the goal of effective usage of visualization in software. The company was set up by a group of five core members, formerly researchers in the Visualization R&D group of Mahindra-British Telecom LTD, a Pune based telecom software solutions provider.

Set up in 1999, the group initially researched extensively into the field of Graph Theory based visualizations, subsequently widening its scope into other areas and techniques. These techniques were used in building visual software for domains including Telecom, Software Engineering, Network Planning and Scheduling. Aviz Software was set up in 2003 as a endeavor by the group to continue its work in building and helping to build visual software. This includes building generic visualization frameworks, off the shelf visualization components, products and consulting.

Our Focus

Aviz is focused on enabling the business applications to be more visual and interactive. This is facilitated by continuous research into visualization techniques, studying their impact on various domains and incorporating them into various Aviz products and frameworks. Aviz has a pre-built portfolio of tools that inter-operate well, enabling rapid solution deployment. Aviz builds and continuously upgrades generic frameworks that facilitate building of visual applications that are highly customizable, richly interactive and flexible.
